I noticed the casting quality wasn't that great compared to factory, more burs and the markings on the pump weren't very clear. It's been working fine for about 5k km's without issues though. To sum it all up, Cloyes timing chain kits performance and timing are unmatchable. However, despite carrying higher price tags, Cloyes kits aren’t as durable as Melling’s kits. No chain rattle on startup ever since it was installed. The HD kit came with a steel guide rail instead of the usual plastic that is prone to breaking. Most of the kit was made in USA.
