WebGrowthhormone-releasing peptide-2 (GHRP-2) is a potent GH secretagogue [1] and is current- ly used in Japan for the diagnosis of GH deficiency [2]. GH secretagogues including GHRP-2 have also been shown to stimulate the secretion of adrenocor- ticotropin (ACTH) and cortisol in humans [3, 4, 5]. WebGHRP-2 is the second strongest GHRP. It binds to the growth hormone secretagogue receptor. Aside from stimulating GH secretion, it stimulates ghrelin (hunger hormone), possibly helping with muscle gains. GHRP-2 also weakly and temporarily increases prolactin, ACTH, and cortisol.
