This product is just like high end Standox but almost half the price, about $40 a litre. The problem i am having is that there two small spots where the primer hasnt hardened. they were primed at different times. one is on the cowel the other is on the roof-sail panel. Feather Fill is a high solids, medium build polyester surfacer and the Feather Fill G2 (their newest version) is a high solids, high build product which meets CA and national rule VOC requirements.

WebDec 20, 2014 · I've used Slick Sand, but not Feather Fill, so I can't give you a direct comparison, but here are my thoughts: I chose SS over FF because it is easy to sand and according to the tech sheet, you can lay color directly over it. My understanding of the FF is they recommend a primer/sealer over it, so that's more work & expense.
